[Alternative] How do I print to campus printers from my personal device?
You will need to print from a USB device. If it appears empty on the Ricoh, then you need to make sure it is formatted using the FAT32 file system. When you go to print a document, you will need to select the "Microsoft Print to PDF" printer. This will create a pdf file and prompt you for a location to save it. Save it to a USB drive or location you will remember so you can copy to a USB drive later. Once you have the document on a USB drive, then take the drive to a Ricoh copier to print it.
- Log into the Ricoh copier by swiping your ID card on the reader next to the display panel
- Select the home button at the bottom of the screen
- Select the "Print/Scan (Memory Storage Device)" icon
- Choose "Print from Storage Device", insert your USB drive, and select its picture it appears
- Select the file to want print and hit the "Start" button on the right.
- When done, hit the small picture of the USB drive at the bottom left and then OK to safely remove the device
- Hit the home button at the bottom, find and select the PaperCut Icon, then select "Logout" to finish
